SYRC runs an ongoing circus, dance and acrobatics training program for young and emerging West Australians. SYRC's unique training program incorporates techniques from circus, gymnastics, ballet, yoga, sports acrobatics and physiotherapy.
SYRC training caters for a wide range of ages and abilities. Previous circus, sporting or dance training is beneficial but not essential, all you need to join is enthusiasm, daring and a love of heights!
SYRC's weekly training includes three two-hour sessions of:
- Stretching and body conditioning
- Aerial circus skills
- Tumbling and acrobatics
- Group balancing and sports acrobatics skills
- Development of unique routines for performance
- Guest Circus Trainers and Dance Teachers/Choreographers
