Aerial Acts

Lyra: One of the most elegant acts in circus, this aerial hoop spins from a single point and demonstrates flexibility, grace and balance. The Lyra can be used by a single aerialist or by a duo.

Aerial Silks: This dramatic apparatus is a crowd favourite and iconic in modern circus. Two falls of material are climbed and manipulated by the aerialist, encompassing graceful heights and spectacular drops. The Silks can be used by a single aerialist, or in a synchronised performance.

Partner Silks: The ultimate demonstration of strength, trust and grace this act has two aerialists working together on the Silks while they are spinning and swinging in a circular arc.

Triple Trapeze: Using an apparatus that is three trapeze bars joined together, this act can consist of three, four or five aerialists working together in a display of breathtaking strength and synchronicity.

Duo Trapeze: Two aerialists dance, mirror and counterbalance on a wide trapeze bar combining musicality and grace with acrobatic feats.

Straps: In this act an aerialist is suspended by wrists, ankles or a combination of both as they spin
high above the crowd, manoeuvring through artistic positions and contortion.

Spanish Web: This act delivers dizzying heights and outrageous speeds. An aerialist suspends themselves at the top of a rope and contorts while being spun from below. The Web can be used by a single aerialist, or in a synchronised performance.

Mallakhamb: A unique apparatus, the Mallakhamb is an Indian rope. The aerialist climbs, contorts and performs yoga-like positions metres above the ground suspended by their toes! A beautiful mix of Indian tradition and circus, this display is dramatic and different.

Cloudswing: The aerialist swings on a rope or a silks hung like a loop while performing daring somersaults, spins and drops that surprise and exhilarate the audience.

Ground Acts

Hand Balancing: Combining handstands and contortion performed on poles, the hand balance is a demonstration of strength and artistry. This act is ground based, requiring no aerial rigging.

Contortion: Syrc delivers a blend of circus tradition and performance art modernism in its contortion acts. Available as a single act or a prolonged group delivery, our contortionists can adapt to the needs of the performance.

Ground Acrobatics: Performances can be developed for specific needs and can include tumbling, dance and sports acrobatics skills.
